RMH Industries, a company specializing in mechanical and hydraulic repairs, machining of oversized parts, chrome plating and thermal spray. For 50 years, RMH Industries has served a variety of sectors, including construction, mining, quarries, hydroelectricity, maritime and industrial.
In September 2019, RMH Industries undertook a 40,000 ft² plant expansion project to increase its specialized steel inventory and production capacity. To achieve this, they called on Premium Industrial Group to supply safe and efficient lifting equipment.

Project description
The project was carried out in two main stages :
- 1. Distribution phase : Installation of two overhead cranes with two STAHL hoists, each with a capacity of 5,000 kg.
- 2. Machining phase : Installation of two overhead cranes, the upper one with a lifting capacity of 75,000 kg and the lower one with a capacity of 10,000 kg.
Challenges and solutions
- Challenge : Ensuring safe lifting operations.
- Distribution sector solutions : Overhead cranes equipped with two hoists to facilitate and stabilize the movement of materials.
- Machining sector solutions : An anti-collision system with communication was integrated to prevent collisions between the upper and lower overhead cranes.
- In addition, a bi-directional anti-collision system was installed on the lower overhead crane to prevent collisions with the machining tower when the head is raised.

- Increased production and storage capacity.
