Premium Industrial Group was founded in July 2009 by the Lacelle family, who had already been working in the lifting industry since the 1970s. Initially, the company was to focus on service. But thanks to several major projects for major customers such as Paccar, ArcelorMittal, Canam and many others, PREMIUM has carved out an enviable place for itself in overhead crane manufacturing.
Great aspirations began with a first major contract in the mining sector with Canadian Royalties. This was followed by one of the largest overhead crane contracts in Quebec, a $5 million project for ArcelorMittal's Fermont expansion. Anything was now possible!
In 2016, management founded a new construction company to meet the demand for building modifications: Premium Industrial Structures.
Over the past few years, PREMIUM has become a leader in the sale of lifting equipment in Quebec, and already ranks among the top three overhead crane manufacturing companies in Canada.
