The Context : A need for automation and integration
ContiTech has a long tradition of developing and integrating its own automated machines. However, this project involved an additional constraint: integrating lifting equipment into an existing network of machines. This challenge called for both a high-performance technical solution and specialized support to ensure optimum installation.
The solution : Technical expertise and coordination
Premium, in collaboration with Canstahl, designed and delivered a turnkey solution including :
- Reinforcement of the existing structure, carried out by Premium Industrial Structures, to meet the new load requirements.
- 11 Stahl SH series monorail hoists, designed for tandem operation with precise synchronization and load-sharing systems.
- Automated access to specific areas, guaranteeing worker safety.
All stages - structural reinforcement, hoist installation, electrical connections, testing and network integration - were completed in just two weeks, taking advantage of public holidays to minimize production interruptions.
