Contitech: A triple partnership efficiently resolves a major challenge

A company called Continental was looking for a reliable partner in automated lifting for its Granby plant (ContiTech Canada Inc.). Since this complex project involved much more than a conventional installation, Premium was the obvious choice to handle this challenge. Why was Premium the ideal partner?

ContiTech is used to developing and seamlessly integrating its own automated machines into its network. But for this project, lifting devices were involved. Premium was therefore chosen as a partner for the installation of the solution and as a consultant for its integration. Thanks to the expertise already in place at ContiTech and the comprehensive solution provided by Premium, this challenge was successfully completed!

Premium Industrial Group, in collaboration with its partner Canstahl, supplied 2 sets of monorails, 11 in total, which operated in synchronized manner, including load sharing and automated access to specific areas. Since the ceiling structure needed to be reinforced, Structures Industrielles Premium addressed the need by increasing the load capacity of the structure. We subsequently completed the mechanical installation, the electrical wiring and performed various tests, while providing support for the integration into the machine network.

This collaboration made it possible to implement the complete solution within a short 2-week period. The efficient coordination between the three parties involved and the different suppliers made this exciting project possible and turned this major challenge into a major achievement!
